Half-leather album, measuring 426 x 332 mm, containing 87 mounted prints. There is a letterpress 'List of Photographs of Sone Works' which describes views taken between April 1871 and May 1873. There are 50 photographs described in the list but only 45 appear in the album. Most of the remaining prints in the album have handwritten captions. The collection depicts views of public works throughout India and Pakistan, particularly canal works in South India, the Punjab, Agra and on the Son River and the building of the Manora Breakwater at Karachi.
