Black post-bound album, 240x317mm, containing uncaptioned mounted prints. The title-page reads as follows: ''Photographs taken on the occasion of the tenth Annual General Meeting of the Merchants' Chamber of UP, Cawnpore, at which His Excellency Sir Maurice Garnier Hallett, KCSI, CIE, ICS, Governor, United Provinces was present. With compliments of the President & the Council of the Merchants' Chamber of UP, 10th February, 1942'. A white label on the front cover has the handwritten title, 'Cawnpore Merchants Association'. The photographs depict Hallett being introduced to Chamber members, speeches, informal groups including Lady Hallett, a garden party and various views of guests at a banquet.
