Green post-bound album, 218x290mm, containing mounted prints with just two handwritten captions, from the collection of Lieutenant-Colonel Walter Campbell. The title, 'Golf' and a coat of arms, are stamped in gold on the front cover. The photographs depict a day of golf, followed by a meal, in the company of the Maharaja of Navanagar. Includes views on the course, players teeing-off, groups, the Maharaja, Sir Courtney Latimer, bathing in the sea, dinner and departure by car.
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Walter Fendall Campbell (1894-1973), Indian Army 1914; Indian Political Department 1921; Prime Minister of Alwar 1935-36; Resident, Waziristan 1939-40; Resident for Central India 1942-46; Resident in Mysore 1946-47.
