Red post-bound album, 280x395mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions, from the collection of Lieutenant-Colonel Walter Campbell. Pages are interleaved with tissue. The title and photographer's name are stamped in gold on the front cover. Although the album covers and pages are in reasonable condition, the string or other device for binding them has been removed so that the pages are loose.
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Walter Fendall Campbell (1894-1973), Indian Army 1914; Indian Political Department 1921; Prime Minister of Alwar 1935-36; Resident, Waziristan 1939-40; Resident for Central India 1942-46; Resident in Mysore 1946-47.
