Brown half-leather bound album (spine weak) measuring 258x330mm, containing uncaptioned amateur snapshots mounted four to a page on the recto. The majority of the views show either railway scenes in the vicinity of the Chappar Rift (including views of the viaduct and of the entrance to the Khojak Tunnel) and family and social scenes in Quetta. Among the more interesting material are a number of interiors of British houses (prints 33-4, 47-50, 77-8, 100-1), a picnic scene (print 86), a British family posed on camels (prints 91-4) and a photograph of a woman making a painting of an Indian group (print 116).
