Brown half-leather bound album measuring 317x445mm, containing prints mounted one to a page, with captions and dates in Zetland's hand. The album records the Marquess of Zetland's travels in Canada, Japan and China, including: views on the Canadian Pacific Railway; views in Tokyo including captured Russian guns; views at Kyoto; Japanese rural scenes; Japanese industries including oil, steel and copper; the Chinese port of Tianjin; views of the Beijing city walls; Yantai port and the Weihai regiment under British command.
