Black and blue half-leather album, 417 x 338 mm, containing mounted prints, numbered and captioned in Zetland's hand. Zetland has also typed out an account of his trip to Ceylon which is pasted in the front and back of the album. This includes a numbered list of the photographs which are referred to throughout his account. The trip was undertaken in December 1951; the party (Marquess of Zetland, Colonel John Biggle, Lady Viola Dundas, Countess Fitzwilliam and Maud (?)) arriving in Colombo on board the 'La Marseillaise' on 2nd January 1952 and returning to England on 19th February.
