Original album binding has been removed although the pages, measuring 264 x 390 mm, are still intact at the spine. The prints are mounted with handwritten captions. The photographs follow the sea route to India from Gibraltar to Bombay via Malta, Port Said, Suez and Aden. After Bombay the photographs depict topographical and architectural views at Ahmadabad, Abu, Jaipur, Amber, Agra, Sikandra, Fatehpur Sikri, Amritsar and Kanpur.
