Scope & Content:: Black full-leather bound album measuring 323x460mm, title as above stamped in gold on front cover, together with photographer's credit reading 'Raja Deen Dayal & Sons. Bombay and Secunderabad'. Prints mounted mainly one per page, the majority with letterpresss captions pasted beneath. The album records Lord Curzon's tour of October-December 1900. The Viceroy left Simla on 25 October and arrived in Karachi, where the album's documentation begins, on 27 October. The photographs then record the visits to Bhuj, Diu, Junagarh, Rajkot, Surat, Bombay, Bijapur (architectural views only), Marmagao, Gersoppa Falls, Cochin, Quilon, Trivandrum, Maddatura, Tinnevelly, Madurai, Trichinopoly, Tanjore, Bangalore, Mysore, Kakenkote (Kheddahs), Seringapatam, Rambha and Puri. The majority of the photographs were taken at the time of the visit, although a few (such as the architectural views at Bijapur) are probably earlier.
