Green half-leather bound album measuring 370x505mm, title as above stamped in gold on front cover, together with Bhopal coat of arms and photographer's credit reading 'Herzog and Higgins, Mhow, C.I.'. Prints mounted on album pages between tissue interleaving, with letterpress captions pasted beneath. The album records Lord Curzon's visit to Bhopal and Sanchi on 25-28 November 1899, during the viceregal autumn tour of that year. Prints 2-31 relate specifically to the visit, prints 32-47 (general views of Bhopal) and prints 48-57 (views of Sanchi Tope) may have been taken on a different occasion.
