Full-leather album, 195x542mm, containing mounted prints with letterpress captions preceded by a letterpress introduction. The pages are interleaved with tissue with each print in a hand-painted floral border. The album, which is encased in a black, silk-lined box, has richly decorated covers in white, red. green, blue, silver and gold, with the title and Jaipur State coat-of-arms on the front. The album was produced by the Scottish Mission Industries Company Ltd of Ajmer. The photographs are mainly architectural views in Jaipur and Amber and are possibly by the Jaipur firm of Gobindram & Oodeyram on the strength of a duplicate print at Photo 17/4 (60) which bears the initials G & O.
