Black full-leather bound album measuring 331x472mm, title as above stamped in gold on front cover, together with photographer's signature reading, 'J. Claude White.' Prints are mounted to a page (recto only), with neat handwritten captions beneath. The album consists of landscape view of mountain scenery photographed by White during work on the Sikkim-Tibet boundary in 1902. Prints 27-31 are loose platinum print views of the fortress at Khampa Dzong, taken during the 1903 mission to Tibet (see Photo 430/53).
