Black and green half-leather album, 280x390mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. The album is in need of rebinding. The photographs relate to a tour of India and Ceylon by an English cricket team from December 1889 to April 1890, including views of matches at Colombo and Kandy and team portraits there and at Calcutta, Allahabad, Agra, Lucknow, Meerut and Lahore. The collection also contains eleven commercially produced prints of Egypt, views of Benares, Agra and Lucknow and two ships, the 'Kaiser Wilhelm II' and the 'Taroba'.
