Collection of miscellaneous loose prints, some mounted on card, the majority captioned.
Biographical note: Sir Conrad Laurence Corfield (1893-1980) joined the Indian Civil Service in 1920 and transferred to the Political Department in 1925, serving in Kathiawar, Baluchistan, Rajasthan, Central India and Hyderabad. He was Joint Secretary, Political Department, Simla, 1934-38, Resident at Jaipur 1938-40, Resident for the Punjab States, 1941-45, and Political Adviser to the Viceroy as Crown Represenative 1945-47.
