Maroon half-leather album, 277x380mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. The photographs are mainly snapshots and include views of various civil engineering projects throughout the state of Jaipur and miscellaneous portraits of Stotherd's family and colleagues including a large number of views in the British Isles. Some prints are duplicates of material in other albums in the Stotherd Collection. The spine of the album has a label (detached) listing the locations and dates of the photographs as follows: Jaipur 1909-23, Looe 1920, Loch Earn 1920, Bala 1923, New Galloway, Ullswater 1925, Haslemere 1924-26.
Prints 1-17. Executive Engineer's bungalow at Jaipur, including views of the garden and stables. There is also a portrait of a group in the garden with a performing parrot.
Prints 18-29. Views of the construction of the Banas River Bridge, including girder erection, supply trains and local railway stations.
Prints 30-35. Various portraits, mostly duplicates.
Prints 36-52. Miscellaneous views on Tour in Jaipur State, Dec 1909-Jan 1910, including carriages, forts, a well, a bullock shigram, Dhil Nadi Dam, camp scene and a dak runner.
