Brown and maroon half-leather bound album measuring 328x395mm, somewhat scuffed and with cloth partly detached, but generally sound. Prints are mounted one to a page, the majority captioned in pencil beneath the image. The contents of the album can be broken down as follows:
Prints 1-33 Railway construction scenes on the Chaman Extension Railway between Gulistan and Chaman, including scenes in the Khojak Pass. Also includes some views of Quetta and other locations.
Prints 34-53 Views and portrait groups at Quetta, including scenes from an amateur dramatic production, portraits of racehorses and portraits of military groups.
Prints 54-57 Views of the eastern entrance to the Khojak Tunnel at Shelabagh.
Prints 58-60 Portraits of Mr Hodson and family, Quetta.
Prints 61-79 Non-Indian subjects: portraits of hounds and horses and hunting scenes in Ireland. Not individually listed.
