Brown quarter bound cloth photograph album, 234x160mm, with prints inserted two to a page in window mounts, each with a typescript caption on a label pasted beneath. The photographs, taken towards the end of the First World War, include general views of shipping, cities and architecture including excavations at Babylon, as well as views of military camps and training.
The collection was compiled by Major Charles Dennis Balding, Hampshire and Burma Rifles 1915-c.43.
