Scope & Content:

Brown quarter bound photograph album measuring 233x160mm, containing prints inserted two to a page in window mounts, with typescript captions beneath. The photographs are views of the Assam Rifles in Aizawl and surrounding areas, including topographical and ethnographical studies.

The collection was compiled by Major Charles Dennis Balding, Hampshire and Burma Rifles 1915-c.43.
