Miscellaneous collection of loose prints, the majority uncaptioned, relating to the career of Sir Hugh Shakespear Barnes in India and Burma. The collection can be broadly broken down into the following categories:
Prints 1-24 Miscellaneous portraits: individuals and groups, including several of the Viceroy Lord Curzon.
Prints 26-48 Views of Quetta and Balochistan, mainly by Frederick Bremner.
Prints 50-57 Visit of the Viceroy Lord Elgin to Alwar, 1896 (the majority duplicated in Photo 15/5).
Prints 58-92 Visit of the Viceroy Lord Curzon to Hyderabad, 1902 (the majority duplicated in Photo 430/33). Photographs by Lala Deen Dayal.
