Full-length portrait of Scott, holding a riding crop and standing beside two pots of lilies, in front of the doorway of a bungalow (possibly at Darjeeling?). Behind him stand servants and several wooden crates. The title of the photograph is written in pencil on the reverse and presumably refers to Alexander Scott (1872-1932), whose paintings of India were exhibited at the Fine Art Society, London in 1889.
