Brown cloth-covered album stamped 'Photographs' in gold on front cover and measuring 158x187mm. With inscription on front fixed endpaper reading, '1901. Helen Hodder, Civil Lines, Mandalay'. The prints are inserted in window apertures, the majority uncaptioned. The album contains amateur snapshots of the Hodder residence at Mandalay, The Hermitage (interior and exterior views), views taken on boards the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company paddle steamer 'Palow', and scenes of an unidentified building under construction.
