Scope & Content:

Black half-leather bound album measuring 280x375mm, in poor condition with spine piece missing and boards partially detached from album block. The album contain professional prints mounted on the page with handwritten captions beneath. The contents of the album can be broken down as follows:

Prints 1-14 Views and portraits relating to the consecration and construction of St Mary's Church, Mandalay (also known as the Queen Victoria Memorial Church).

Print 15 Staff of the General Hospital, Mandalay, 1901.

Prints 16-24 Views of the funeral of a Buddhist monk at Mandalay.

Prints 25-27 Lord Curzon's Durbar at Mandalay.

Prints 28-44 General views and portraits.
