Red half-leather album, measuring 312 x 427 mm, containing mounted prints with occasional captions. The album is in poor condition with broken binding and brittle leaves. Photographs, both professional and amateur, include portraits of various members of the Macnabb family and its offshoots, including those that served in India.
Prints 1-2 Two copies of a portrait of a man in Highland dress, cut from journals. Print 3-9 Archibald Corrie Macnabb at Rottingham School. Prints 10-19 A. C. Macnabb at Eton. Prints 20-34 A. C. Macnabb at Balliol College, Oxford. Print 35 Large formal group of unidentified European and Indian officials. Print 36 Group of officials and their wives, Mamdot Estate, Jellalabad, Ferozepore District. Print 37 Group of European and Indian officials, Karnal District, 1921. Prints 38-39 Marriage of A. C. Macnabb to Alice Walter, Lahore, 1931. Prints 40-52 Views at Sargodha, including a European wedding and greyhound racing. Prints 53-64 Miscellaneous portraits including Alice Macnabb and weddings, probably in the British Isles. Prints 65-144 Mostly professional portraits of various members of the Macnabb family and friends and colleagues, some are identified, including J. H. E. Reid, J. L. I. Reid, Donald Campbell Macnabb, Rawdon J. Macnabb, James William Macnabb and family and Donald John Campbell Macnabb. The prints are interspersed with newspaper and journal articles and pictures. There is also a plan of the Macnabb family house at Binfield, Berkshire.
