Collection of loose prints relating to the family and career of Sir Louis William Dane, the majority captioned by Denise Bunting Dane, his daughter. The pictures were captioned towards the end of Bunting Dane's life, and there are occasional errors and contradictions in dating, etc. The collection is arranged in the following categories:
Prints 1-9 Miscellaneous large prints, the majority on card mounts.
Prints 10-96 Family portraits, arranged in groups by sitter.
Prints 97-116 Social scenes and official events at Shimla, Kashmir and Lahore, late 1890s-c.1911.
Prints 117-125 Miscellaneous portraits snapshots, mainly in Europe.
