Green cloth-covered post-bound album, 305x456mm, containing prints mounted several to a page with handwritten captions. A note inside the front cover reads: 'The property of the late Colonel J. Lloyd T. Jones, IMS, presented by his Brother (Sir Robert Armstrong-Jones) through the kindness of Major-General Sir Leonard Rogers, IMS, FRS'. The album contains snapshot photographs covering a range of subjects and locations including portraits, social life scenes and architectural and topographical views in Kashmir, Bombay, Madras, Ootacamund, Bangalore, Kolar Gold Fields, Seringapatam and Pune.

Prints 1-128: Snapshot views of a tour of Kashmir (Srinagar, Martand, Liddar Valley, Ishmakam, Gulmarg, Pahlgam, Wular Lake) including camp scenes, portraits (Col Jones, Mr & Mrs Tebb and Mr Nedou of Nedou's Hotel, Gulmarg), canal and river scenes, servants and hill porters, architecture, village scenes and mountain scenery. Prints 129-202: Views and portraits mainly in Bombay (also Ajmere, Srinagar, England and Ooty) including the Reformatory at Matunga, a picnic at Goabunder, equestrian portraits of Col Jones, European schoolchildren, street scenes, Col Jones in his Peugeot car and Sailors' Sports Day. Prints 203-205: Portraits in England including Lloyd George. Prints 206-229: Views of the Madras and Adyar Clubs and various views at Ootacamund including the club, church, racecourse, 'Point to Point' and Todas. Print 232: Temple at Bangalore.
