Black half-leather album, 366x304mm, containing mounted prints with handwritten captions. The album and prints are in poor condition. A note inside the back cover reads: 'The property of the late Colonel J. Lloyd T. Jones, IMS, presented by his Brother (Sir Robert Armstrong-Jones) through the kindness of Major-General Sir Leonard Rogers, IMS, FRS'. The photographs include both commercially produced views and snapshots at Varanasi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Sikandra, Delhi, Lucknow, Pune, various sites in the Holy Land, Italy, Calcutta and the British Isles.
