Cloth-covered post-bound album measuring 240x332mm with hand-written label on front cover reading 'India IV 1930/31', and containing snapshots and postcards mounted on corner hinges on black album leaves. Captions are hand-written in white ink. A number of loose papers (agendas, menu cards, etc) relating to social and official events (c.1930) are inserted at the front of the album. The contents of the album can be roughly broken down as follows:
Prints 1-40 Scenes of missionary life, general views, etc., mainly at Dornakal (Warangal District, Andhra Pradesh). Scenes include: the Bishop's old house, new Divinity Hall being built, Cathedral being built, Harvest Festival in the new Cathedral, Lambardy men and women dancing during the Holi Festival, pupils at Dornakal School, baptism ceremonies of Christian converts.
Prints 41-78 Village and missionary scenes at Rhagavapuram ('village where Venkayya first became Christian in 1860'), Margollu, Nandigamma, Todaviralapad, Nekonda, Lingagirrie, Surapalle, Vidianagar, Mylarvaram, Nalakarla, etc.
Prints 79-93 Architectural views (some postcards) of Daulatabad and Ellora.
Prints 94-139 Postcard views (with a few original prints) of Ellora, Ajanta and Madras.
