A typescript note on the verso reads: 'Presentations of furnishings to A.A.B. India Office: Furnishings for the soldiers' huts on A.A. Searchlight and Gun sites were presented today by officials of the Indian Office. Forlorn and miserable these men of an A.A. unit are [seen] in their sparsely furnished hut as it was before officials of the Indian Office presented them with extra furnishings'.
