Blue full-leather album, 315 x 523 mm, containing mounted uncaptioned prints. The title is stamped in gold on the front cover with the Rajpipla coat of arms. The photographs record an official visit to the state made by Sir Frederick Sykes in 1929, including portraits of the Governor and Maharaja, foundation laying ceremony, visit to the state jail, a garden party and views of buildings in the state capital, Nandod, and surrounding areas.
Sir Frederick Sykes (d. 1954) was Governor of Bombay 1928-33.
