Grey mock-crocodile photograph album measuring 226x320mm, with title as above stamped in gold on leather panel on the front cover, from the collection of Sir James Sifton. Prints are inserted four to a page in window mounts, with neat handwritten captions beneath each image. Photographer's name is printed on the inside backcover.
Sir James David Sifton (1878-1952), entered the Indian Civil Service in 1902. He served as Governor of Bihar and Orissa 1932-36 and Governor of Bihar 1936-37.
