Collection of loose prints, the majority of which are aerial views taken shortly after the Bihar Earthquake of 1934. From the collection of Sir James Sifton.

Sir James David Sifton (1878-1952), entered the Indian Civil Service in 1902. He served as Governor of Bihar and Orissa 1932-36 and Governor of Bihar 1936-37.
