Scope & Content:

Brown half-leather album, 382x335mm, containing prints mounted on board with pencilled captions. Each page is stamped with an Archaeological Survey of India wet-stamp and signed: 'Edmd. W. Smith, 1 May 1894', apart from the last three prints dated '1895'. The prints are preceded by copies of the annual progress reports, issued by the Archaeological and Architectural Surveyors (Dr A. Fuhrer and Mr. Edmund W. Smith respectively) of the Archaeological Survey, N.W.P. and Oudh Circle, as follows:
