Scope & Content:

Brown half-leather bound volume measuring 325x375mm, containing prints mounted on card. The volume is in poor condition, with front board and spine piece detached and several of the prints loose. The photographs are preceded by a copy of Alexander Rea's printed reports of the survey's acitivities for 1895-96, 1896-97 and 1897-98, which contain lists of captions for the prints. captions are also handwritten on the back of the mounts.

The volume contains architectural and archaeological views at Gingee, Krishnagiri, Tirunathar Kunru, Chittanur, Melaicheri, Chandragiri and Tadpatri.
