Maroon half-leather bound album measuring 320x380 mm, with some warping of front board due to water damage (prints unaffected). Some of the prints show signs of yellowing and fading. The photographs are preceded by a copy of A.H. Longhurst's printed report of the survey's acitivities for 1920-21, which contains a list of captions for the prints.The prints in the volume are grouped by architectural style, with a different suffix to indicate Jain, Hindu, Islamic, etc., styles. The prints in this volume are numbered as follows: 525A-526A (primitive stone monuments and antiquities), 111C-114C (Jain art and architecture), 1433D-1516D (Hindu art and architecture), 56E-59E (Islamic art and architecture), 221G-248G (historical forts and European monuments). The volume contains archaeological and architectural views at Alambarai, Barkur, Bekal, Chaulikeri, Dannaikankottai, Kanchipuram, Krishnagiri, Kuram, Markapur, Namakkal, Rayakota, Sankaridrug, Tenneri, Tiruchengodu, Tiruparuttikunram, Udaivara, Udupi, Velamundi.
