Blue cloth covered photograph album measuring 147 x113 mm, titled 'Snap Shots' on front cover and containing 46 small prints laid down one to a page, with handwritten captions in ink beneath each image. The album is inscribed on the flyleaf: ''Jungle Views' in Upper Burma. Taken by E. H. Quinn, Moda. To mother from Harry. May 29th 1907.' Prints are in good condition, although the binding of the album is weak, with many folios loose. Although small, the photographs are sharp and of good quality. Subjects include river scenes and steamers, logging activities with elephants, European bungalows, village scenes at Kunchoung, Shweli River, Magyee, Mabein, Moda, Katha. All the Europeans featured in the photographs (Messrs Quinn, Petley and Stewart) were employees of the Rangoon firm of Steele Brothers.
