Collection of 34 loose prints, the majority uncaptioned and relating to the military and social life of Lieutenant-Colonel Asher Leventon in Assam. The collection includes a number of portraits of Leventon, miscellaneous topographical snapshots, the paddle steamer 'Hawk' on the Brahmaputra, the Lieutenant-Governor's yacht Brahmakund and social and family snapshots. There are also three views of a mountain battery in action (probably not in Assam), and three views of Tibet, two of which are photographic copies of paintings.
