Soft covered album measuring 390 x 315mm, containing 88 prints, compiled (and many probably taken) by John Patrick Gordon Cameron, a former Cooper's Hill student and later engineer with the Indian Telegraphs Department. The contents consists of a series of 16 professionally taken views (by Bourne and Shepherd) of the 1911 Coronation Durbar at Delhi, with two maps relating to the event and a typescript lists of Cooper's Hill students involved in the organisation of the event (prints 1-18); 7 photographs taken in 1907 relating to the construction in Assam of the Indo-Burma Telegraph Line (prints 19-25); 12 views of the penal settlement at Port Blair, Andaman Islands (prints 26-37); 6 views of a wagon-mounted telegraph station being hauled across a river between Kohat and Thal in 1914 (prints 38-43); 3 panoramic views of the ceremonial presentation of a letter from George V to representatives of the Amir of Afghanistan in 1914 (prints 44-46); 10 views relating to the erection of a radio station at Basra, 1915-16 (prints 47-56); portrait group of Cooper's Hill men (print 57); 11 views relating to the re-erection of thw Agra-Delhi Telegraph, 1930 (prints 58-68); 11 views of Baghdad, 1917 (prints 69-79); 9 miscellaneous snapshots of Cooper's Hill, c. 1904-06 (prints 80-88).
