Collection of 83 loose prints, mounted on linen, with handwritten caption labels pasted beneath the photographs. The prints form a record of engineering projects in Bombay with which Alexander Hornby Whyte was involved in the early years of the 20th century. The majority of the photographs relate to the construction of the 'Vibrocel' seawall along the Kennedy Sea Face at Back Bay, Bombay.
