Mock leather bound photograph album measuring 185 x 250 mm, containing 140 prints of Indian subjects, the majority from negatives in Photo 1172/1. The location of most of the photographs appears to be in present-day Madhya Pradesh. The subject matter is concentrated heavily on agriculture, and includes: threshing and harvesting, ploughing, picking and transporting cotton, harvesting sugar cane and making sugar, shepherds and goatherds, irrigation (including Persian Wheel and tank irrigation).
