View of of a saj tree in a forest clearing, with Webber's tent on the right. With additional note on album page beneath print: 'Called 'asan' in Bengal. A very common beautiful & very lofty tree with very straight stem usually found with sal which it strongly resembles. The timber is excellent but not used as much as sal. Common in C.P. [Central Provinces] & the Terai & lower Himalayas.'
