Half-leather photograph album measuring 280 mm x 380 mm, containing 75 pasted-down prints (the majority with handwritten captions), with an additional 18 prints, loosely inserted. The main body of the album documents railway construction work on the Darrah Viaduct in 1906.
The loose prints include: Indian Army Reserve camp at Gharial, views at Murree, the road from Murree to Gharial, a group portrait of Indian Army Reserve officers, 1915, the Lower Ganges Bridge, snapshots of army personnel.
