Brown mock leather album measuring 336x248mm, stamped 'Gorakhpur' in gilt on front cover, and containing 26 gelatin silver prints mounted one to a page, recto only, with an introductory page of captions identifying the images. Most of the photographs show views of buildings associated with the Bengal and North Western Railway, whose headquarters were at Gorakhpur. There are also views of the Gurkha War Memorial, the Buddhist stupa and Dharmsala at Kasia, and a group portrait of Izat family members and friends.
