Disbound black cloth covered photograph album (back cover missing) measuring 310 x 410 mm, containing 78 prints, many captioned in pencil, illustrating the military career and social life of Colonel Walter Binny Douglas (1868-1939), Indian Army 1892-1921. Inscribed 'W. B. Douglas 1898' on front fixed endpaper. The album contains views and scenes at Peshawar, Bara, Gandao Kotal, Ali Masjid, Landi Kotal, Ranikhet, Lucknow, Naini Tal, Dibrugarh, Bulrampur, Pindari Glacier, Agra, Jabalpur, Hyderabad, Ellora, Daulatabad, Secunderabad, Delhi and Amritsar. There are also numerous portraits of officers of the 1st Brahmans.
