Scope & Content:

Green cloth covered 'Series D' Kodak photograph album measuring 198x157mm, containing 96 captioned snapshots, generally of indifferent quality, inserted in window apertures four to a page.

The album documents the military career of Colonel Walter Binny Douglas during the First World War in Aden and Yemen and includes the following subjects: Installation of the Sultan at Lahej; general views of Aden and Waht; 1/1st Brahmans on board S.S. Centriana; views of Kamaran and of Turkish prisoners being landed; views at Bombay; views of Hodeida with camp of 1/1st Brahmans; return of the Jacob Mission to Hodeida.
