- (1). ff. 1-4. 'Toccata', for piano. Autograph score, in blue ink (10-stave paper, 310 x 235 mm), pp. 1-8. Signed and dated on f. 1r (1925), and dated at the end of the score: 'Negron - Sept-Oct: 1925'. Dedication (f. 1r): 'To J. F. Waterhouse'.
- (2). ff. 5-13. 'Lay your sleeping head, my love' (Op. 14, no. 2). For voice and piano. Words: W. H. Auden. Undated autograph score, in black ink (2 bifolia, 16-stave paper, 330 x 270 mm), pp. [1]-[6]. Signed at the head of the work and dedicated: 'To Benjamin' [Britten]. Some annotations in pencil, and overlays on pp. [1], [2], [3], [5]. For 'Five Poems by W. H. Auden' (Op. 53), see MS Mus. 1801/7/2.
- (3). ff. 14-16. 'Salve Regina' (Op. 48, no. 1). Motet for unison choir and organ. Words: Latin (Marian antiphon). Undated autograph score, in blue ink with annotations in pencil (1 bifolium, 16-stave paper, 355 x 260 mm), pp. 1-[4]. Signed on f. 14r.
- (4). ff. 16-25. Quartet for oboe, violin, viola and violoncello (Op. 70). Dyeline copy (1st Proof) of printed score, pp. [1]-20. Annotated in pencil and green ink. Annotated 'checked JC' (green ink). For sketches and the autograph score, see MS Mus. 1801/5/5.
- (5). f. 26. Autograph fragment (1 f., pp. 3-4) from an unidentified article about 'a composer's life'.
- (6). f. 27. Fragments in pencil of piano score of Faldon Park: 'Piano score continued (Page 9)'. 1 bifolium (2 pp. blank).
- (7). f. 28. Fragment (1 f.) in black ink (p. 5) of a work scored for chamber orchestra. The verso (p. 6) is ruled up (no score) for a larger orchestra.
- (8). f. 29. Two song fragments (1 f.) in pencil: 'Look Stranger' (suggesting W. H. Auden), and 'Who says it's my desire' (from 'People Hide Their Love' by the Chinese poet Wu-Ti - see Five Chinese Songs, Op. 78, in MS Mus. 1801/7/3). On the verso, unidentified pencil sketches.
