View looking aross the valley towards a rock-cut building overlooking a low cliff and other houses. The 'Egyptian-style monolith,' also seen in the following print, is the structure to the left of centre on the nearer ridge. The structure is described by Salzmann in the accompanying volume of text (shelfmark L.2.c.9), p. 26. Salzmann identifies it as a shrine rather than a tomb.
