View from the south-west looking towards the propylon gateway of the Temple dedicated to the lunar deity Khons, inscribed with bas-relief sculpture and hieroglyphics, with the pylon beyond. A figure is posed in the opening of the gateway to indicate its scale. The temple is situtated in the south-west corner of the Precinct of Amun-Ra. With additional caption note: 'Hauteur 21m. Largeur 12m 50c. Hauteur de la baie 15m. Élevé par Ptolémée Évergète et Physcon; était précédé par un dromos de béliers actuellement décapités ou détruits qui, se rattachant à une avenue de sphynx, reliait le palais de Karnak à celui de Louqsor. — Les sculptures représentent Ptolémée Évergète et Bérénice (sa femme-sœur) faisant des offrandes à plusieurs divinités, ainsi qu'à Ptolémée Philadelphe et à Arsinoé divinisés.'
