Front view of a small full-length statuette in bronze: '… The figure is treated in an archaic manner, but may be classed as an example of Hieratic art, in which the archaic style was retained at a later period. It was found in Rome [corrected in pencil to 'Verona'], but was probably of Etruscan origin. It is not certain what deity is here represented. The type corresponds for the most part with that called by Gerhard Aphrodite-Persephone. Height, 7 in.'
