Typescript cloth bound memoir, with 18 prints (mainly copy prints) pasted in. The memoir, dated 1937, was written by Frederick Charles Tollemache Halliday (b. 1873), Indian Police 1895-1918, and recounts his life as Deputy Superintendent of Police in Manbhum 1912-13, and as adviser on security arrangements for Viceregal tours between 1913-17. There is also an extract of his account of an earlier visit to the Lushai Hills in 1898.
