Album measuring 370x280mm, in poor condition, with binding loose and board deatched, containing photographic prints, watercolour sketches, newspapers cuttings, invitations and other ephemera relating to the life and career of Colonel George Ranken between 1900 and 1903. Subjects covered include life at Sialkot, the Delhi Durbar of 1902-03, and scenes at Gulmarg and Srinagar. The majority of the photographs are captioned and range from very small amateur snapshots to professionally taken group portraits.
